Happy 2nd Birthday, Colin!!!!!

I can’t believe that he’s 2!! These last years have flown by and he is more amazing than we ever thought possible. Though lately I’m cursing the fact that he talks so well, as his favorite phrases are ‘go away’ and ‘no way’ and ‘no thanks’. The ‘no thanks’ is actually REALLY cute, though.

He loves his train table. He keeps saying ‘my trains! my trains!’

Here’s to many more.

Our Last Formal Night

Every night we sit with the same people at dinner and have the same servers. These were taken last night as our waiter and assistant waiter took part in the Baked Alaska Dance. Mr. Frederick is the one on the left who makes myspace faces in every photo. Handel, our waiter, is the one with Baked Alaska on his head. Two of the three couples are in the 2nd picture, Gretchen and Mark from Arizona and Declan and Barbara from New Jersey. Denise and Toby from Ireland only dined in the main room a couple of times because it gets a little noisy in the Grand Restaurant.

Tangier, Morocco

Tangier was a total suck fest!!! Our guide was awful and not helpful, we were taken to the cheesiest places, John got assaulted (but I’ll let him tell you about that) and we were harangued non-stop by merchants selling tacky souvenirs. I can safely check Morocco off my list and never come back again.

P.S. The only cool thing we did in Tangier was go to Hercules’ Cave. The legend says that Hercules separated Africa and Europe leaving the Caves on one side and the Rock of Gibraltar on the other. The view was really, quite pretty. Inside the cave however, were more haranguing merchants trying to sell us tacky shit.
