Today we went down to Sarah’s neighborhood and visited the Inman Park Festival and saw the parade. It’s literally on Sarah’s street. We ate gyros and people watched and shopped. Colin slept through most of it, but the grown ups had fun!
Colin has his first tooth! It’s on the bottom right and you can feel it more than see it. For the past few days I’ve been noticing that Colin seems to be hungry, even after he’s just finished nursing, so John and I decided that we would start solids. He’s five months old tomorrow, and we thought we’d give it a try. We got some unsweetened apple sauce and broke out his sippy cup, bowl and rubber-tipped spoons. I think it went fairly well. Colin made some of the weirdest faces that I’ve ever seen, but he didn’t cry or throw the bowl or throw up so I think we did pretty good. We’ll try more tomorrow and see how that goes! 
Maybe he’s getting a little too big…
Colin had so much fun with the toy at Nana’s house that we had to buy our own! He’s getting better at it every day!
It’s been a busy week and I realized that I hadn’t posted anything since Sunday. Well, we went crazy with the camera this afternoon and got some great shots! We are so lucky to have such a happy, easy baby!
