Today we went to the Renaissance Festival with our friends Billy and Jill who are expecting their first baby in October. Colin slept through most of it, but the rest of us had a lot of fun!
The weather was so nice yesterday that we went to Nana Banana’s for a cookout! We spread a couple of blankets on the lawn and played with toys. Colin loved being outside! The water was way too cold to get in and swim, but we dangled our feet (for about a second). Colin starts swimming lessons at the Y in July! I’m pretty sure that we’re going to have another little fish on our hands!
Our silly baby started off playing happily in his Exersaucer and then, after about fifteen minutes conked out! The kid has taken two twenty minute naps ALL DAY (much to my chagrin) and is now, at 7:00 p.m. passed out standing up! It’s pretty much too cute for words, so John and I promptly grabbed the camera and started clicking. He hasn’t budged for the last fifteen minutes! I’m afraid to move him, so we’ll just see how long he sleeps here.
John and I took Colin to his first baseball game tonight! It was a little loud at times and Colin didn’t love that, but I think we had a good time! He slept for about an hour of the game, and then woke up a happy boy! I think that this will be great fun when he’s older! We bought him an Atlanta Braves baseball hat that is quite big for him, but he will grow into it through the years. Right now, he really just wanted to pull it off and gnaw on it.
