On Saturday, we went to Michael Thomas’ (Our cousin, the one on the Slip-n-Slide) birthday party! The theme was ARMY (hence all the camo and Uncle Winn’s face paint!)
The line wasn’t as long as we thought it would be, but man it was hot out there. Nick (in the blue tee shirt) and Brandon (in the burgundy) were in line all day and they saved John a seat (the red chair). When we got there, all that was left to do was play Monopoly, eat pizza and wait. It was worth it!
Surprise!! The UPS truck just left and guess what came; a tiger from Poppie just for Colin! He was fussing in his high chair before we gave it to him and now he’s playing happily. 
I came into the room after being gone for FIVE minutes and Colin had turned over a toy and climbed on top of it to be able to see over the side of the Pack N Play! He’s getting so big! 
Wow! Seven months old tomorrow!!
Colin loves standing up! He wants to do it no matter where he is or what he should be doing (like eating). He’s also getting much better at pulling up on different things, though he still ends up in the middle of the coffee table, instead of hanging on to the top. He’s learning, though! Colin also loves playing with the Exersaucer while he’s on the outside of it! It gives him a whole new perspective of the toys he loves.
No more does he want to sit in Mommy or Daddy’s laps. Unless he’s eating he wants to be on the ground, slowly but surely, chasing after the dogs, spreading the toys from his basket all over the living room, and getting into the bookshelves!
He also LOVES Elmo and Grover. I’ve started recording Sesame Street everyday, and he has a ball! It’s an hour long show and he’s just mesmerized. He also loves his friends from Gymboree! We go a few times a week and when he sees the building he gets so excited! And, of course, everyone loves Colin!
