My sister Emily is here for Spring Break again and we went to the zoo! Of course, I pick the coldest day to go to the zoo and we froze a little bit. The animals were mostly sleepy, but they did come to play after a while. We did have a good time, though! We rode the carousel and the train and played in the playground. It was much busier than I thought it would be on a frigid day at the end of March.

I weeded through the 100+ pictures that we took to get the best of our time at the zoo.

So, we finally made it in for his 15 month check up (only a month late) and Colin’s perfect (we knew this). He is the funniest little guy and so so stubborn! If he’s awake, he’s busy.

Height: 31.5 inches

Weight: 25 pounds (less than I thought)

Loves: Playing outside, climbing stairs over and over again, The Backyardigans, dancing, ‘helping’ with the laundry, going down slides, bath time, making monkey noises

Hates: Shoes, getting his face washed, diaper changes

New Words: Bye Bye, Eaaay (as in “What’s the Fonz say?”), Rhino, Duck, Quack, One leg (while getting dressed), Night Night, Book

Teeth: 16 – and they’re all sharp!

Favorite Foods: French fries, spaghetti, peas, corn on the cob, any kind of bread, fried okra, Pad Thai, Pad See Ew, fried rice, fortune cookies, MnMs, raisins, blueberries
