Eze, France

Eze is a very neat town, the oldest part of which is set on a cliff. We climbed hills and old steps to see the cathedral and the view from the top. It’s amazing to thing that this town, built in Medieval times, was carved out of a mountain. With the tools they had back then, it’s an amazing feat. After visiting the cathedral we went down to the newer village of Eze and wandered in the shops and had a snack. John had cafe au lait, and we both had one of the best doughnuts I’ve ever tasted.
