Fes was a very long day for us. From the port it’s about a 3 and a half hour drive to the First Imperial City of Fes. Our guide, Abdul, showed us many different places that we’d have never found on our own, nor could we ever find them again. We visited the King’s Palace, a handmade crafts shop, a tannery, a spice shop, a rug store, a fabric shop as well as one of the best restaurants in Fes. There we had a yummy feast to music and a belly dancer! We didn’t get back to the ship til 9:20 tonight and the ship left port at 9:30!!
